Originally released on Fly Records in 1971 in the UK, and Reprise Records in the USA.

Cut by Krieg Wunderlich from a quarter inch, 15 IPS analogue tape copy, plated and pressed onto two 45rpm platters at Record Technology Incorporated, here is Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs recent limited edition of T.Rex's second album Electric Warrior.

There are a wide range of opinions on this release, firstly it wasn't an original master recording, but MoFi don't claim so - some say it is the best version available of this classic glam rock album, others prefer the Kevin Gray cut a few years previous, some say Wunderlich has been heavy-handed around the bottom end. I don't have an OG for comparison purposes, and it is very hard to find a nice clean original these days - plus remember they used to roll off the bass frequencies back in the day to accommodate cheap home hi-fi.

I've played this rip back through headphones and my home system and think it sounds great.
