Logic System - Logic [PROT-7104 JPN 2021 24-Bit FLAC] Originally released on the Express Records label in Japan during 1981, and then worldwide from 1982 on EMI Records. Using a combination of classic Moog III, Prophet 5, Roland MC-8 & TR808 and a Yamaha GS-1, he composes a mixture of the breezy ambient, Japanese techtronics and pounding euro-beat. The album, recorded in the USA even evolves into slick jazz-funk complete with chorus harmonies. Matsutake remains one of the unsung heroes of Japanese electronica, who transported his skills into the j-pop world, working with many modern artists through the decades. Further evidence that one does not need a wizard's cloak and a silly hat/hair/beard combo to be consid...
