Fold - Fold [FOLDFM 106A UK 2015 24-Bit FLAC] A few years back I set-up a very short lived pop-up blog covering my favourite releases at the time. I suppose I wanted to prove that I wasn't stuck in the seventies and eighties when it comes to my listening and purchasing preferences. One of those LP rips was this unique and limited distribution album from Yorkshire quartet, Fold. This album is funky, thought-provoking and sample heavy. Fold find a groove and hit home with topical lyrics, mixing rap and samples with real instruments. Imagine if Public Service Broadcasting packed away their synths and learnt how to play music in analogue. This is really rather good, enjoy!
