International Music System - International Music System [88.072 NLD 1983 24-Bit FLAC] Whilst flicking through boxes in a local vinyl store (pre-lockdown, yes I live in a state where everything is currently shutdown), I happened upon Dutch pressings of the two albums by Italian electro-technologists, International Music System. I thought I would invest some of your donations in these two electronic rarities. Here is their debut, licensed for The Netherlands from the band's own IMS label. The Italian trio venture further west, looking to New York disco for their sound, borrowing heavily from the styles originally created by Arthur Baker and friends. This album is mostly instrumental apart from the weakest track Bubble Rap which includes some vocal rap and the ital-disco hit single Runaway .
