It took a line-up change for New Order's Peter Hook side-project Revenge to produce their best work. The introduction of the talented guitarist David Potts generated greater cohesion and structure into what had been over-complicated and, at times mundane electronic indie rock.
On the project's final release Gun World Porn, Revenge finally made sense and a few years later Hook and Potts were to return as the hit generating Monaco. Expect to hear plenty of the most recognisable bass sound in indie rock.
