Just Perfect

 The The - Perfect [A13-3119 UK 1983 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC]

In times when you feel that you are outside looking in on what are difficult times in our history, a little irony goes a long way, and there is no better in the field that the early works of Matt Johnson. Here is a brand new rip of the original UK twelve inch version of Perfect, which is very different to the recording on the bonus single with Soul Mining.

Back in 1983, we possibly thought that Perfect was an ironic look at the world back then, however these days it should be considered as a look into Johnson's head space, maybe this is really a song about where his mental health was, in an ironic sort of way.

Just perfect, well okay ...not in a perfect place.
