Redskins - The Peel Sessions [SFPS 030 UK 1987 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC]

I cannot recall the number of times I saw the Redskins onstage between 1983-1985, but it was substantial - most of the time with the then young troubadour Billy Bragg. Politics can be an idealistic game, and the NME journo X-Moore (real name Chris Moore) toured his Redskins skinhead soul-brand around the UK preaching to the massed converted studentia. Yep, I was once one. They were quickly snapped up by Decca Records and made a few small dents into the hit parade eventually infiltrating the mainstream, though I doubt many ever got the message.
