Following closely behind She's A Superstar, Gravity Grave was the second single by Wigan's Verve. The track is an eight minute assault on the aural senses, driven by what could be the simplest of Roger Waters bass lines from early seventies Pink Floyd, the track builds and builds to a crescendo of melodic noise, the subtle bass & drum break, around the four & a half minute mark, gives you enough time to come up for air until the hypnotic noise immerses you once more. 

This track needs the space and depth as afforded by a hi-fi system, so for the full effect, put the headphones away and play loudly.
