Belgian indie-rockers turned remix specialists Soulwax clashed head on with this old Sylvester disco classic earlier this year for this full-on discofantasmagoria version of You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real). The track was recorded for playback on a 50,000 watt, state-of- the-art, vinyl only sound system known as Despacio. I don't have one of those ...and I suspect none of you lot do either, so just play loudly at home and make your neighbours think you've gone pure disco.

ReplyDeleteWell, thanks for putting this up, there was no point me doing it was it would have shown up my slightly less than satisfactory comparison to your Shibata. I had tickets to Despacio at The Roundhouse in 2020. the great thing about this mix is that they've just used original stems and not added anything else......even when a Soulwax remix isn't that great, it always sounds great out loud.....DEEWEE certainly know what they are doing...check out everything on the label everyone
