You was Tuxedomoon's sixth album and their last before they split, it is very possibly their most accessible. The band's music had been through many transitions and twists since No Tears and Half-Mute however You is arty eighties pop, catchy in places (Roman P, The Train and Never Ending Story), contemporary and experimental in others (Bruce Geduldig's bizarre and quite worrying Boxman trilogy), complex (Spirits & Ghosts) ....then of course there is the blissfully gorgeous and mellow title track.
