Tuxedomoon - Divine [OPT 001 UK 1982 24-Bit FLAC]

The third Tuxedomoon album was originally released on Les Disques Du Crépuscule's UK offshoot Operation Twilight and this post was ripped from an original pressing in the penguinflight archive. To confuse matters, the sleeve track listing names on the label do not match those on the sleeve - in actual fact the 'bonus' tracks on the subsequent 1990 CD and vinyl pressings do appear on this original, they are just uncredited. This rip first featured on the ESWA 2.0 forum in August 2017, I have corrected the track splits to match Discogs and the reissues, fixed a few crackles with a little more general tidying.

This is the overly-arty side of Tuxedomoon, gone are the quirky synths and bass lines, replaced by strings, distorted horns, mangled violins, random piano keys and voice overs. The standout is easily the manically excellent Prussian sounding Ninotschka.
