Spinning at 33rpm, here is a brand new rip of the massive twelve inch version of Knife Slits Water, very different to the original version on Sextet, this is ACR at their hardiest and funkiest - all driven by Donald Johnson's very familiar and quite wonderful slap bassline. I've actually always preferred the differently darker version on the seven inch which is not done justice, cheaply pressed onto flimsy, poor quality vinyl.
