A new rip for 2020 from an old blog favourite. This was actually an experiment in extracting the best audio from a nastily pressed record. I've been trying to master iZotope RX Audio and it's function for spectral noise reduction. Noise reduction is a nasty phrase in any audio mastering, especially from vinyl...it is very evident when applied, however my goal here was to remove audible vinyl rumble from what is a quietly mastered platter pressed onto very cheap vinyl. The Quando Quango track still sounds as if it is recorded through a wall, I cannot fix that, however I am quite pleased at how everything else sounds.
